| Module content | Audio mastering consists of a study of the advanced theory and practice of audio pre-mastering as it pertains to the music production environment. In particular, the techniques pertaining to pre-mastering, including equalisation, macro-, and micro dynamics, excitation, enhancement, noise reduction, analogue and digital processing are addressed. Examination is based on a portfolio of commercial quality premastering assignments. |
